- HI! My Name is Irv Emmons and I moved back to my birth state of ORegon in 1998. I graduated from Grant High School (Portland, OR) and earned my Electrical Engineering degree from Auburn University (Auburn, AL). I retired from the Air Force in 1989 as a Major. I retired 1 Oct 2013 from the Oregon Public Utility Commission as the Program Manager for the Retail Telecommunications and Water Regulation Section.
- I created this web site to share my interests, communicate to my family and friends and an opportunity to connect to cousins that are in my family line. Of course, it is always great to make contact with others that have similar interests to my own. Please drop me a message if you have comments, something to contribute or just want to say HI.
- I married my high school sweetheart, Cheryl Darlene Rusen, on 6 May 1967. We had three great children: John, Chris, and Danielle. I lost my wife on 12 July 2005 after a long term illness and our son John on 25 Jan 2008 after losing a fight with cancer. I have attached some pictures in my wife's memory that can be accessed above on the “Photo Gallery” dropdown menu. I have twelve fantastic grandchildren that are scattered between four states and I have also included some of their pictures. The picture on the left has my three children, one son-in-law and seven of my twelve grandchildren. I sure love my entire family and a very special lady in my life; love you Donna.
- I keep busy these days as a volunteer with the Clatsop County Emergency Management Office as the County RACES Officer and Emergency Coordinator.
